I Ended Up with Three Selfie Sticks from Simply Selfies

I saw people posting really cool selfies on social media. Most of them have people either holding their arms out to get the shot, or they stand in front of a mirror. The funny ones are when they are looking at the phone screen instead of the mirror, or when they have the flash turned on. These selfies I was seeing had the phone too far away to be their arms, and you could see the monopod if you looked close at some of the images. I finally found them at the Simply Selfies website.

This is a really cool device. It is a metal telescoping tube that has a foam handle on one end and a spring-loaded device to attach your smartphone on the other end. The camera phone mount can be articulated to pretty much any angle by just adjusting the hinge and set screw. It is really easy. Oh, and the thing that holds the smartphone to the monopod is really sturdy. It has rubber where it touches your phone, so it will not scratch it up at all.

They call them a Selfie Stick over at Simply Selfies. I got one with the Bluetooth shutter release button. I use an app along with the Bluetooth button to activate the shutter button on my camera phone. I can use it to start and stop video recordings too. This makes it so I do not have to use any self-timers, and I can get some really cool shots with this thing. I like it for aerial view selfies. They always seem to make me look thinner, and you know you do not want the pounds showing on your social media selfies. I had to buy another one when my husband took mine. Then I had to get even another one when our daughter took my second one for her own. You probably want to get one for each selfie enthusiast in your house if you want to hang onto yours.
