Senior Citizens Can Feel Safer

When my mom’s neighbor’s house was ransacked by vandals, she was grateful that her neighbor was not home at the time. I had similar thoughts, and it did worry me that the next house that got hit might have a different outcome. The area they live in mostly consists of senior citizens, and I know they probably seem like an easy mark to someone wanting to make a quick buck. I decided to help my mom out, and I found a way to do that after looking at http://home-security.co/adt-home-security/florida/.

I live in South Dakota, so it is not possible for me to be there for her in person. Her closest friends are all in their 70s, so they would not provide a lot of help either if someone was trying to break into her house while she was there. That is why I wanted to get her a security system. I knew that houses that have these systems have a sign in the front yard to let people know that the house has a security alarm, and I was hoping that would be a huge deterrent to anyone wanting to break into her house.

I knew she would not want to pay for a security system because she is very frugal in some ways, but the cost was low enough that I would be able to swing the monitoring costs each month. I really liked everything that is included with the security system, including a key chain remote, a digital keypad, the yard sign, and so much more. All of this has allowed her to feel safer, and some of her neighbors have even had a system installed after my mom bragged on hers. I have a feeling the criminals are going to look for an easier section of town next time!
